DUNEDIN POST OFFICE

ONLY THREE TENDERS

RISK OF PRICES RISING

(By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") DUNEDIN, This Day. Three local firms only tendered for the erection of the new Dunedin Post Office. Many firms did- not tender because of the huge risk involved as the result of the uncertainty of today's prices, which arc affected by the conversion scheme and exchange inflation. As a result of this risk prices are expected to be higher than would ordinarily be the case, and there would appear to bo some, justification for the belief held in some circles that the erection of flic building will be further postpoued by the Department.
