WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE

A very enjoyable card party was held recently by the Khaiidallah "branch of the Women's National Eeserve. Mrs. H. B. Gibbous lout her beautiful home for the occasion, bridge being played in the drawing-room and progressive whist, in the billiard-room. A dainty supper j was served by the committee. ! The prize-winners for the whist were Mesdames. Green and Fleming and Mr. Fleming, and the bridge was won byMrs. Eothwell. A guessing competition for an iced cake was won by Mrs. Monro, and an evening bag by Mrs. Chesncy (Lower Hutt). :
