GLIDE SKATING RINK.

This evening's session at the Glide Skating Rink in Wakefleld Street will be extended to 11 o'clock. The popular "Skaters" orchestra will be in attendance and will feature popular numbers, Including hits from "42nd Street." A novelty Item "Whistling Fours" will be introduced in addition to the usual gliding couples, reverse'trios, Monte Carlo, and twilight waltz. . Scotty, the Australian-high-jump champion, will attempt to break his own chairjumping on skates record. Next Wednesday evening a vice versa carnival will be held. On Monday, September 4, a series of schoolchlldren's skating competitions is to commence. During the school holidays special concession rates are available for children.
