NORTHLAND BEAT WEST COAST
; (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WHAXGAREI, August 24. A meagre attendance witnessed the representative Rugby League match, West Coast versus Northland, this afternoon, when the latter secured a victory by 15 points to 14. At the interval Northland was leading 10-2, but the visitors asserted themselves., throughout the second spell and the home side's single invasion into VVest Coast territory resulted, in v converted try. The West Coasters missed several easy penalty kicks. -.;.
