RUGBY INCIDENT

I MARTOjST, This Day. i Arising from ;an unfortunate incident at Marton on Saturday during the progress of a match between Bulls and Old Boys, the Rangitikei Rugby Union last evening, after considering the referee's report, ruled that Claude Ellery, of Bulls, be ordered off all Rugby playing fields for a period of'three years. Ellery, whose previous record was; a splendid one,-was ordered off during the game in question—' it was to have been, his last—for rough; play and insolence. After two previous' warnings, when leaving the field «£ grasped the referee by the chin when asked for his name and said "Find out."
