(Special to the "Evenlnj Post.") CARTERTON; This Day. The management committee of- the Wairarapa Rugby -Union met at Carterton last-evening. The referee in the junior game at Greytown last Saturday reported the Carterton team for alleged chipping, at the referee. —After hearing the' explanation of the''coach and captain of the team, it was decided to infoftn the referee that from the evidence before the union it was not proved that the hooting came from the Carterton team.' A protest o£ - the Maurieeville Club against the Masterton Club playing a senior player on July 1 in a grade for which he hnd not been reinstated was upheld, and the game was awarded to the Mfiuriceville Club. It was decided to play the Manawatu Union at Palmerston North on September 9, and the Wellington juniors at Carterton on the same date. Martinhorougb • Club was given permission to play the Onslow team at Martinborough, and aleo a team at Upper Hntt on-dates to be arranged. The junior play-oft between Greytown and Old Boys will be. played at Carterton on September 2. It was decided that the four leading teams in the senior competition play a knock-out competition on September 2. Featherston will play Cavterton at Carterton; Dalefield will play Gladstone at Gladstone; Red Star will play Greytown at Gic.vtown for the Redmond Cup, and "MVirtinborough will play Old Boys at Masterton,
