CHATHAM CUP FINAL,
The final Soccer football match for the Chatham Cup will be played at the Basin Reserve tomorrow between Ponsonby (Auckland) and Millerton AH Blacks (Buller). Millerton All Blacks have a very fine team this season, it being the" second time they have entered the final, and their chances of success this year are bright. Their exceptionally clever set of forwards will take a power of stopping, whilst their defence is also good. Ponsonby so far have an unbeaten record Several of their players have represented Auckland in representative football Their forward line is a particularly fast one. each man being a first-class Bhot. Ponconby also have a very effective defence. They have- won the trophy previously, and are keen on their chances in this frame. At the conclusion of the game the (.'up and medals will be presented to the victors. Prior to the big game Swifts and Watcrsiclcrs will meet in the semifinal for the Auld Cup. This should prove a fast and attractive game. There will also be a curtain-raiser between Auckland and Wellington senior secondary schools tennis
