MEAT EXPORT
MAINTAINING QUALITY
Deference to the, necessity for maintaining the quality of New Zealand export mutton and lamb was made at the Farmers' l/nion Conference today, when tho following remit 'was carried:-—
"That in view of the urgent necessity of maintaining the high position our meat occupies, particularly on the British market, and further improving the quality of our meat products, this conference urges upon the Government the need of prohibiting the export of anything but sound quality mutton and lamb of first and second grade."
