As a culmination of the wildest bull market for two years a torrent of profittaking swept the pit in the closing j stages of the grain market on Monday, sweeping values from extreme heights to a close at 4* cents higher than {Saturday's finish. The steady stream of buying kept up until tho close, holding selling in check. Less than two cents were pared from the day's highs. July closed-at 74* cents; October at 77-J cents; and December at 78! cents. I
