Individual practice and concentration- by every member,; especially tliose taking part in, inter-club matches, is the only 'method of raising the average. This is reflected In the scores of. both the; intermediate and C-.grade• match results..',-' The former-lost to-'Karori with an average of 66 and the latter .to Public Service with an average of 63. As the club last year, had success in its matches, it is: hoped that members will make-an effort ■to; effect af recovery from a bad :heginhing. KARORI CLUB. Top score' last Thursday evening was put oh by Haase with 69. Mrs. Staples, H. C. Booji, and Rockel each scored. 68. An lriterclub' match in- the intermediate grade, was fired against the "Evening Post"1 Club. This was Tery-closely contested, but resulted in a fvin by a-narrow margin. The five-man team
also recorded their shoot for' the Winchester Cup competition, but the results were rather Indifferent. The A team arc reminded of the inter-club match this .Thursday. ONSLOW CLUS.
