THE CALL OF TONGARIRO.
C6-pperation of the Railways and Tourist Departments is enabling people of Wellington and district to enjoy very cheap weekend trips to Chateau Tongariro. In accordance with the principle of "the greatest good for the greatest number," the railway fares and the accommodation charges have been substantially reduced. The well-warmed Chateau offers a wide variety of indoors entertainment, and outside, amid the majestic splendour of great mountains, the great white fields offer thrills in ski-ing and other winter iports.
