EXPORTS TO CHINA.
The Australian • Minister for Cpmmerce (Mr. Stewart)' has' received advice from the Chinese Consulate General 'in Australia that the Chinese import regulations requiring goods entering China to. be marked with the name of the country of origin (i.e., the country of manufacture) would'be strictly enforced on and.from January 1, 1934, instead of from August next, as previously announced. It was also possible that, the use of English, French, or Chinese, as optional languages for the '-marking of the goods, might bn allowed, and he was seeking further advice on this point from the Chinese authorities. '
