DEMAND FOR AEROPLANES

Press and official circles continuo^to make- the utmost political capital out of the "air raid," which by1 a strange, coincidence', came twenty-four hours before the opening of Germany's aviation week with exhibitions in many cities of models of aeroplanes.
It now appears that not only .did nobody, see. the; air raiders, but nobodyhas even seen the anti-Hitlerite leaflets supposed to have been scattered from them, yhe authorities in Berlin say that copies of the leaflets arc filed by various Ministries, but are not open to. inspection. .-.' . < Captain Goering lias decided to order two police aeroplanes immediately. Ho says; "Wo must have defence aeroplanes.- 1 liad riot a single machine," he,told the British United Press representative, "that, could .be sent: aloft yesterday. The incident shows how ,defenceless", Germany, . is. Communist machines might como over at any time."
