SEATOUN CLUB
The annual general meeting of the Seatoun Bowling and Tennis Club, Ltd., was held in the bowling pavilion on Saturday, the president, Mr. W. L. Pajje, presiding. In presenting the report and balancesheet, Mr. Page referred to the loss sustained in the death of Mr. W. A. Grace, the club's worthy late patron, and also of Mr. J. Snelling, a member of the club Those present stood in silence in respect for the late members. The electicu of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows; —President, Mr. W. L. Page; vice-president, Mr. P. K. Jackson; hon. secretary, Mr. P. A. South: hon. treasurer, Mr. H. A. Snelling; directors, Messrs. W. Usher, H. J. Jones, J. B. Higgins, S. M. Stone, A. V. Swanson, W. A. Scarfe; delegate to Wellington Centre, Mr. S. M. Stone. The method of selection came up for discussion and by a large majority the meeting decided to revert to the sole selector, and Mr. P. J. Wright was unanimously elected to the position.
