Playing at the Winter Showground in the Wellington Rugby League's competition Celtic decisively defeated Koro Koro on Saturday. The Celtic rearguard was much too fast and clever for the opposition, and the side eventually won by 48 points to 6. ' Nash, Still, Olson, and Dobson showed up well for the winners, and Mincham was in good goal-kicking form. In the early game at the Showground Newtown B beat City B by 6 points to nil, Ashmore scoring two tries. On Crawford Green Newtown A won from. City A by 4 points to 2. For Newtown Fuller and Masters kicked penalty <*oals, Harris doing the same thing for City.
