P. AND T. OFFICERS' GUILD

A delightful dance was given ou Saturday evening by the Wellington committee of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph. Officers' Guild. The brightly-furnished rooms of the Farmers' Institute building were comfortably filled with dancers. The brightest of music was played by .in excellent orchestra, while tables were provided for those who preferred cards. A delectable supper was provided. Musical items were contributed by Mrs. Eoy Clark, and Messrs. A. H. Outtrim and G. H. Gray, and were greatly, appreciated. The M.C. was Mr. F. H. Guinness. Among those present were:— Mrs. G. MeNamara (who wore a black and gold frock), Mrs. W. P. Aldridge (black taffeta), Mrs. S. A. Ogilvie (blue •lace), Mrs. M. Simpson (red lace and marocain), Mrs. AY. E. Newall (black lace), Mrs. H. M. Patrick (black georgette with bottle-green coatee), Mrs. W. H. Barnett (blue georgette and lace with black ring velvet coatee), Mrs. C. L. Mayo (duck-egg blue), Mrs. P. N. Cryer (georgette), Mrs. D. A. Herbert (black velvet and lace), Mrs. S. Hall (green floral taffeta), Mrs. J. J. Knight (blue taffeta with feather trimming),. Mrs. D. C. Selater (black patterned with gold), Mrs. E. J. Smith, (blue lace with black velvet coatee), Mrs. P. J. Hogan (black lace), Mrs. V. B. Cade (fuchsia satin, white fur trimmings)', Mrs. Alan Crawford (black •satin), Mrs. W. G. Morgan (white moire satin), Mrs. G. Jones (red crepe do chine), Mrs. C. E. Bradley (black lace), Mrs. W. Porter (powder blue georgette), Mrs. Roy Clark (royal blue, Mrs. J. O'Donoghue (apricot net over satin). Misses Peggy McFarlane (red and white velvet), Newall (white satin red capo). Messrs. G. MeNamara, W. P. Ald:ridge, S. A. Ogilvio, T. C. Hobbs-Jones, E. B.
