MRS. LUCY JANE BOWEN.

Tho death occurred in Wellington last evening of Mrs. Lucy Jane Bowen, daughter of Mr. William Seed, late Inspector of Customs. She was born in Wellington. Slig married Mr. E. E. C. Bowen, Inspector of Customs, Napier, where they spent most of their married life. Mrs. Bowen is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. A. McLean (Porangahau) and Miss Elsie Bowen (Wellington). Her only son gave his life for King and country in the Great War.
