WIN FOR WELLINGTON

Fast play was maintained throughout the Wellington-Petone game which the former team won by 3 goals to 2. There were several changes in positions in the Petone team as a result of injuries received on the previous Saturday, and Wellington led by 2 goals to nil at half-time. A reorganisation of the Pelone side evened up the scores in the second spell, but Wellington obtained the winning goal towards the end of the game. The winners were the better team on the run o£ play. Mr. B. Ginger was the referee.
