\ Arrangements'' have been, made by the- Wairarapa U.S.A. toj issue sustenance.orders to unemployed ex-service-, men. These will.be available -to all registered unemployed married exservicemen iv Masterton who! satisfy the B.S.A. that they have resided;in; Masterton --for three months preceding the'date of application and who meet with the approval of the/association. The orders are limited to : £l each for June, but'allocations will be arranged monthly; Single ex-service men who comply 'with the residential qualification and who have been declared :by the Hospital Board medical officer to be unfit for'employment, in camp may: obtain a sustenance order of 10s. In the'ekso of ex-servicemen in Cartertony Greytown,: Featherston, and Martinborough, allocations are being made on''exactly tho same, basis. •-, Outlining the above scheme, Mr. A. E., Prentice, secretary of tho Wairarapa; E.S.A., stated that 'arrangements wero alsp, being; madel to;providb, free "beds for indigent men who had no home of their own.'
