DEMPSTER'S PLANS
On his arrival in Loudon, S. C Dempster, the Wellington and New Zealand representative cricketer, was approached by Sir Lindsay Parkinson, president of tho Blackpool Club, with a view to - his playing in tho Ribblesdalc League in Lancashire. It was expected that as a result of the. negotiations Dempster would make* his first appearance for Blackpool against Chorlcy towards the end of last month. It was understood that Dempster had been offered a business appointment in Blackpool.
