THE ENCHANTED SNOWFLAKE
(Original, for the Tinies.) Nancy had just gone to bed; when sho heard a bump against' her bedroom window, which.made her jump out of bod with a start Op running' to1 the window she - saw a large enowflaka nestled closely to the window-pane. "000, Fll got that one ami see how long I can keep it," she whispered to herself. ! ' She opened wide the window, and ia tumbled the snowflake. . Nancy took it in her hands, and with an excited exclamation she discovered it was warm. - There she sat, with: a very ' puzzled look ,on her face, , ,"How could a snowflake be warm!" she asked herself several times, and kept on thinking and -thinking. - All of a sudden it began to move! She saw it had two long eari, then two red eyes, two little feet, until lo and behold, the darlingost little rabbit started to hop about the room! Nancy ran and' picked him up, an* named him Snowball etraight away. Suddenly tho grandfather-clock ia the hall chimed seven. "Time to get up, time to get up I" it said. And Nancy awoke " to, find, she was only, cuddling her toy rabbit. "FAIBY DANCER" (l«fc' . ' Newtown. ' '
