They wore' white caps and earned muffs of crushed velvet, the muffs being finished with bows of tho blue velvet. The guests, numbering about 140", were.entertained at the Petone Rowing Glub, with'-'which club tho bride's family hasibcen 'associated for many 'yoais. Mis, Jack Duncan, wearing a fitting frock of salmon pink crushed satin, received the guests in the absence of Miss Mary- Duncan, the hostess, who was absent owing to ill health. Mrs. Miller (mother of the.bridegroom) wore a gown of wine lace and,;marocain with small'toque to match,..andf.carried a posy to tone.
