BOARD'S FIRST MEETING
REPAIRS TO TREATY ; HOUSE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) •WHANGABE'I, March 30. The members of the Waitangi Trust Board, the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, presiding, met this morning on the lawn where the Treaty was signed. . . .-. Important- decisions were reached, including the restoration of the Treaty House t<> its original condition, and the replacement of the north-west wing. The right wing will be allocated to the caretaker, and the remaining portions will be open to the public. The left wing is-to be used as a museum and exhibition gallery, and repository for relics.
