FREE ENTRY PROPOSAL
"GET IN ON THE GROUND FLOOR"
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") DUNEDIN, This Day. At a meeting of the Emergency Committee of the Farmers' Union, Mr. James Begg said he'was gravely concorned over the idea of restrictions on imports being applied to our produce by Britain. He considered that the New Zealand Government should ask Britain on what terms: sho would be prepared to grant, absolutely frco entry for New Zealand primary products, and that we should do our utmost to meet whatever terms tho British Govorument stipulated.
"I believe," said Mr. Bcgg, "that if we. show we arc prepared to meet England liberally we shall get in on tho ground floor."
