At a meeting of the Emergency Committee of the Farmers' Union, Mr. James Begg said he'was gravely concorned over the idea of restrictions on imports being applied to our produce by Britain. He considered that the New Zealand Government should ask Britain on what terms: sho would be prepared to grant, absolutely frco entry for New Zealand primary products, and that we should do our utmost to meet whatever terms tho British Govorument stipulated.
