"FOR SINNERS ONLY"

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —There seem to be many who are interested in. ; the Oxford Group Movement, and some^are wondering why noth-1 ing .is done about it, while it is spreading like wildfire in other Dominions. The fact is that a few are in touch with Dr. Frank Buchman and have asked, for a visit of a party to New Zealand to promote the movement here. Archdeacon Chatterton, of Eotorua, is one of: them. He informs me that Dr. Buchman does not want "groups" formed in New Zealand until such time as a visit, can be paid. There is a danger of the movement developing oul wrong lines. Hopes are entertained of a visit next year, though I know nothing definite on this head. However, if any who.are interested will Communicate with me J. will endeavour to arrange a meeting with a view to haying some preparation, done.—l am, etc., F. C. LONG: ! 222 Main Eoad, Karori.
