A HANDSOME DIVIDEND.
By a final distribution of 25 per cent., tax-free, the Pearl Assurance Company, Limited, of London, is restoring its ordinary dividend for 1932-' to the 50 per cent, tax-free level, after the cut to HVs per cent., tax-free, macie 'a year ago. This reduction was-, understood to have been made in view of the then depreciation of security yalues,' but the big improvement that has since taken place gave rise to the expectation that it would be made good this year.
