an intruder, and, with the night porter ( gave chase to two men. ." The men climbed a back .fence, but when tha porter caught one by the leg he struck out with his fist and escaped in the dusk;
Later it was discovered that £12 in money had been stolen from clothes ia one of the bedrooms, and that £2 had been stolen in a similar manner from a neighbouring boardinghouse. .
