The Dairy Board has been advised of the course of the ; London market for New Zealand salt butter week by week since January as follows:— Date. . Per Cwt. March 3 75s to 78s March 10 71s to 74s March 17 77s to 80s .March 24 71s to 72s ' Joseph Nathan and Company, Ltd., have today received from their principals, Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cable advice, dated March 28:—"New Zealand butter 69s to 70s per cwt. Weak."
Dalgety and Co. yesterday .received the following cable from' Samuel Page atfd Sons, under date of the 27th instant:— "Since our report of March 23, butter 2s per cwt lower; white cheese 2s per cwt lower." ' Nathan and Co. are advised London^ March 28:—"New Zealand cheese, white 40s, coloured 48s. Market steadier." ;The New Zealand Producers' Co-opera-tive Marketing Association's weekly cabled market, report from London, dated March 28. is as follows:— "Butter: Market depressed, nad declining. New Zealand, G9s to 70s; Danish 90s to 925. ■> .. . ' "Cheese:' Market slow, New Zealand, white 40s to 41s, coloured 48s; Canadian, white and coloured, 60s to 665."
