GALLOPING AT HAWERA
(Special from "Limited.") ) HAWEKA, This Day. There was a.nip in the air .yesterday morning on the Hawera tracks, when the training of the horses engaged at Stratford on Saturday was proceeded with. Gibraltar moved more freely and the pair finished up in lmin 34isec after running the first half-mile in 53see. Carfex was going the better at the finish, and his running in the Opunake Cup was not his truo form. ■ • March Alone has recovered quickly from tho injuries he received while away at Trentham and Awapuni, and in company with Attentive galloped six furlongs. The pair kept together throughout, running ' the first half of the journey in 3S4sec and finishing up in lrnin lGisec.
