The steamer Behar, conveying a collection of five hundred "Indian jungle birds, animals, and cobras to Liverpool, encountered a storm in the Mediterranean. The monkeys got loose and played hide-and-seek in the rigging, climbed the ventilators, and invaded the cabins. The officers and crew spent four lively days and nights in recapturing them. ',
