ELEGTRIGITY REDUCTION

Sir, —One of the Karori councillors has again touched-upon the raids that have been made from time to .time upon the funds that have accumulated.- He rightly states that until such time when the price has been reduced to the consumers it should be only ; then; and after'that loans be granted to other departments that may require, funds. .'lt.-is'-quite" time', thai further price reductions be made in "electricity to the people of and its suburbs., I heartily agree with Mr.' McEldowney that the'incoming councillors see to it that.it is one of the first considerationsit is possible, and will assist the consumers in our distress:—l am, etc., - .'•
