Taking nose prints of dogs to guard against loss or theft is a method being adopted by some American owners. When two persons claim the same dog in Court, ink nose prints settle the dispute. Like human finger prints, it is said, the patterns on the nose of the dog do not change with age.. No two dogs have identical patterns, so a mistake is impossible.
