When the Russian'White Army was defeated Major Petehkoff rejoined the Foreign Legion, and. took part in the Biff campaign and in fighting in Syria, receiving the Legion, of Honour. -He also wears 12 other decorations "and war medals.
The wedding took placeat the fashionable .church at St. Honqre d'Eylau. Major Pechkoff is one of the very, few men who have risen from the ranks of the Foreign Legion to the command of a battalion. ,'..■.- '.-V, ~.
