MARAMA'S PASSENGERS.
Fine weather was experienced by the Union Steam Ship Company's steamer Marama on the voyage from Sydney, the only slight buffeting she received being when she ran into the southerly last evening. She arrived at Wellington at 7.5 a.m. today and berthed at No. 1 South, Queen's Wharf.

SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS.
Yesterday's depression passed away eastwards last night and an Intense anticyclone is now moving on to the Dominion. Changeable weather has been experienced with scattered showers, more especially in the South Island, and the southerly change which set in last night has brought an appreciable drop in temperatures.
