BERLIN, March 25. Dr. Gunther .Gcrekc, Nationalist member of the Cabinet and the Eeieh 's Commissioner for Employment, who was arrested at the instance of Captain Goering, Minister in Charge of the Police, is accused. of misappropriating altogether £60,00 d funds of the Union of German Communes, of which he is chairman.
He was originally given the post by General yon Schleicher, who/ was attracted to him by his comprehensive scheme for relieving unemployment. Ho sat with other Ministers in the Bciehstag during Herr Hitler's speech and then returned to his department, where ho was arrested by the political police.
Horr Severing, the Socialist member of the Eeichstag who was arrested outsido the building, has been released on condition that he does not evade further interrogation. It is stated that he has been questioned as to the destination of £100,000 which he and Herr Braun, ex-Premier of Prussia* aro accused by tho Nazis of taking from the Prussian Treasury for party purposes when he was Socialist Minister of the Interior.
