PETONE CLUB

The- Petone Club fired the musketry course at Trentham on Saturday. The weather was good and good scoring resulted. The practice consisted of (a) grouping at 100 yards (possible 25), (b) 5 shots application at 200 yards (25), (c) 5 shots snap at 200 yards (15), (d) 10 shots rapid at 200 yards (50); (c) 5 shots application at SOO yards (23), total possible 140 points. It. H. Nicholl put on IX points and, wins the Scott 'Memorial Cup for the second year in succession.
