MISS MARY SUNDEELAND.

There passed away at Wellington on March 20 an interesting personality in the person of Miss Mary Sunderland. She was the elder daughter of the late Mr. William Sunderland, the family being well known at Reef ton in the days of mining activity. Miss Sunderland came with her family to Wellington in 1903, and later moved to Khandallah, where she took an active interest in the work of the Presbyterian Church. Her broad outlook and original turn of mind made for her many friends, who will greatly regret her death. She is survived by two brothers and two sisters.
