LONDON, March 25. Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows, those for March 17 being in parentheses:—

Cotton. —Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 5.13 d per lb (5.26 d); April shipment, 4.92 d a lb (5.04 d). Rubber.—Para, 4^d alb (4 3-8 d); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 2 l-8d a lb (unchanged).

Jute.—March-April shipment, Dundee quotation, Indian jute £14 15s a ton (£l4 12s 6d).

Copra.—March-April shipment, South Sea, £11 7s 6d a ton (£ll 12s 6d); plantation Rabaul, £11 10s a ton (£ll'los). Linseed oil, £17 a ton (unchanged). Turpentine, 60s 9"d a cwt (63s 9d).
