The Winnipeg "Free Press" in its news columns on.'Friday said: "The transfer of the Winnipeg Grain Exchange and trading facilities to Fort William or Port Arthur is being seriously discussed by prominent menTbers of the Exchange. The threat of increased provincial taxation gave Ti*» to this talk. The fact that Ontario idea not levy income tax and that the great bulk of the storage capacity for grain is located at the head of the Lakes are the main arguments for a change of quarters. " .
