EEALLY TRUE SECOND

United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 25, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON,' March 24. Once again a comparative "new chum" to Aintree has been successful in the Grand National Steeplechase. Kellsboro' Jack, winner of this year's big event today, had had very little previous Liverpool experience, and earlier in the season he was wont to find even three miles a little too far for him. He is owned by Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark, and is trained by Ivor Anthony at j Barcelona House, Wroughton. The result was:— GEAND NATIONAL STEELECHASE, a handicap of 100 soys each, with. 4000 soys (including a trophy value 200 soys) added; second 800 soys, third 500 soys, and fourth 200 soys. Golden Miller, the favourite, returned riderless. Gregalaeh fell. Pelorus Jack, another well-fancied candidate, came down at the last fence, when slightly ahead of the ultimate winner. Kellsboro' Jack was prepared by easy, stages for the. race, and he has steadily improved during the last couple of months. He previously possessed useful form, and last spring won the Stanley 'Chase, over part of the National course, at the Grand National Meeting.
