MAILS ARRIVE PROMPTLY
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
CHEISTCHUECH, This Day. The washouts on the North Island main trunk line have not interfered seriously with the prompt arrival of the Auckland mail at Christehurch. Letters from Auckland dated Thursday came to hand by this morning's ferry steamer, as well as papers bearing Wednesday's postmark. The letters were not delayed, but papers arrived one day later than usual.
