Replying to a series of questions fc the House of Commons, the Minister ot Agriculture, Major W. E. Elliot, saii that in accordance with the' Ottawa Agreement imports of South. American: frozen lamb, mutton, and beef would be 15 per cent, lower for the June quarter than for the corresponding quarter of 1932, compared with 10 per cent, reduction in the current quarter. As a result of negotiations, South! American chilled beef imports in the June' quarter would be 5 per cent, higher than in the current quarter. All'these quantities remained on a lower level than contemplated at Ottawa. Imports of Australian and New Zealand frozen mutten and lamb would remain4is agreed afrQtfcaw^'^
