NEW ZEALANDERS1 ' ASSOCIATION

The Wellington Provincial New Zealanders' Association renewed its activities at a -well-attended meeting of the executive committee. The presi- ; dent (Mr. J. A. Shand), presided, and there were present Mesdamea C. J. Burnett and E. Rogers, Misses K. Black and P. Houghton, Messrs. W. A. Thomson (vice-president), A. Teague, E. Simpson, S. C. Ohilds, E. Williams, 1\ W. Buckley, P. C. McParland; and S. V. Knight. j It was .explained that though the assol! elation had gone into recess for a period, having decided Dot to collect members' •a übecriptions for the past year, the coinin, littec had been active.
