On Thursday evening the residents of the Home.for. Aged Needy were entertained by a party organised by Mrs. Ethel Hardie. An excellent programme was submitted, consisting of pianoforte solos, vocal duets, songs, character sketches, dancing,. Maori hakas, etc. The performers were "Mesdaines Hardie and Greig, Misses Z. Hardie, G. Stephens, V. Stephens, G. Tonkin, T. Chesterfield, Messrs. H. Wilkinson, C. Meyers, and Master L. Hardie.
