A new'design of boat davit manufactured for a Cardiff firm, has been exhibited under the auspices of the Cardiff Chamber of Commerce. Known as the "Ocean Gravity Davit,", it is claimed for it that it permits of the Tapid launching of a lifeboat from either side of a ship fegardless of list. The lifeboat can, if necessary, be launched by one man. '
