ATLANTIC AIR SERVICE

A regular Atlantic -aeroplane service in two or three years' time was foreshadowed recently by Sir Erie Geddes, chairman of Imperial Airways. The occasion was his return, with Mr. G. E. Woods Humphery, managing director, from a tour of inspection of the Lon-don-Capo Town air route,, writes the aviation correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph." .

"I would hazard the prophecy," said Sir Eric, "that in the next two or three years we will be starting a regular British air service across the Atlantic. This would connect up with Canada and possibly other parts of the Empire in the Pacific. "There is to my mind no reason why every part of the Empire should not be linked up.by us with the Mother Country within a few ysars.''
