TWO SALES EFFECTED

Two important sales of city property were effected yesterday. Mr. E. A. E. Jones, as solicitor and agent for an undisclosed principal, understood to be an important company organisation, has agreed to purchase the property of Mr. H. D. Bennett, situated at 70 Willis Street, and Messrs. Morison and Gilberd, the well-known opticians, have agreed to purchase the property of the Graay Estate, situated at 48 Willis Street. It is understood that the. prices in each case are considerably abovo pre-war valuations. Both transactions were negotiated with MiLeonard L. Hunt, as agent for the respective vendors.
