BROWNLEE CONCERT

VICEREGAL VISIT

Their Excellencies' the GovernorGeneral and Lady Bledisloe attended the third concert given at the Concert Chamber last evening by Mr. John Brownlee, whoso programme of songs was received with delighted.enthusiasm by a large audience. They were accompanied by Miss Diana Harris and .Lieutenant Rodney Thomson, R.N. Her Excellency wore a handsome evomng wrap of cyclamen pink panne velvet with white fox fur collar over a pastel shaded; frock. Sho was presented with a sheaf of flowers. Miss Harris woto a black frock and black velvet coat with white » fur collar Mrs. Brownlee's frock of white ripple crepe had the decolletago outlined with ermine tails, and sho wore a shoulder cape of black velvet. Miss Rita Miller, who assisted Mr. Brownlee, wore a hooped gown of black georgette with flounced skirt, a red roso decorating the corsage. • Among those present were Signor and Signqra Formiehella, M. and Madame Nihottc, Mrs. George Ellwood Mr. and Mrs. T.
