ROUND TABLE CLUB
INTERNATIONAL BANQUET
Following on the decision of the Business and. Professional Women's Round Table Club that the programme of the regular evening meeting should centre round a study of biographical sketches of leading international men iv the world today, a very interesting evening was held on Monday last, when Miss "W. Savage presented a paper on Herr Hitler, of Germany, and Miss E. Harper a sketch of President Roosevelt of the United States. • Both papers provoked considerable discussion.
The major part of the business of the evening was concerned with plans for the business girls' international banquet, which is to take place early in April. The Bound Table Club will bo hostesses to 200 business girls of Wellington, and great interest is being taken in the fact that this will be the first time that New Zealand business girls have shared in the international celebration in which a great many countries talsfi part each year.
