AERODROME BUSY

The Rongotai aerodrome has been busy during the last two days, principally because of aeroplanes arriving from the soutli and proceeding to Auckj land, via Wanganui, t° take part in the pageant in the northern city tomorrow. The Canterbury Aero Club's Do 'Eaviland Moth, piloted by PlightLieutenant Barlow, arrived at Bongotai at 9 a.m. yesterday, and left at 11 a.m. today for Auckland, via Wanganui. At 2.45 p.m. yesterday the Southland Aero Club's Gypsy Motli ZK-ADB arrived from Christehurch, piloted by Mr. Pinlayson, and left at 4.15 for Auckland, via Wanganui. At 6 p.m. yesterday, three of the Canterbury Aero Club's Gypsy Moths, ZK-AAI, ZK-AAW, and ZK-ADQ arrived, from the southj and. they left at 11 a.m. today for.■Wanganui and Auckland. Mr. L. Mangham arrived at Eongotai at 11 a.m. yester- | day in his Velie Monocoupe, and -was still at the aerodrome this afternoon. Plying ZK-AAV, Squadron-Leader Stedman left for Hamilton at 1 yi.ra. yestarday, and he arrived back in Wellington. this morning. Flying- a Puss Moth, ■Flight-Lieutenant Hewitt arrived in Wellington last evening from Auckland with two passengers, and he left on tna return flight to Auckland this moming. * - '
